The counselor I saw was so helpful. She was always professional, but at the same time, she made me feel comfortable and helped me greatly.

Counseling

Seniors•At•Home knows that there are times when life delivers more challenges than you think you can handle. Maybe you are lonely, depressed, trying to cope with the loss of a loved one, or simply just not "feeling like yourself." With Seniors•At•Home you are never alone. Our licensed clinicians provide short and long-term counseling one-on-one or in groups. We can help you find the safe space you need to sort it all out.

Individual and Family Counseling

Seniors•At•Home counselors are available to meet with you individually or with other family members. Our specialists can help you express and explore your thoughts and feelings to help you manage the aging process.

Bereavement and Healing

Coping with the loss of a loved one may be one of the hardest experiences we face in our lifetime. Whether expected or unanticipated, the death of a close relative or dear friend can have a profound effect on us. Our Bereavement and Healing Program is here to help individuals and families of all faiths and backgrounds who are experiencing such grief and loss. We provide one-on-one support that allows those in mourning to express their feelings openly and to explore the practical, psychological, and spiritual issues that often arise at these times.

In addition to individual counseling, Seniors•At•Home offers bereavement support groups that give mourners the opportunity to seek solace and healing with others who have also experienced a significant loss. The eight-week groups run twice a year, starting in May and November, on Mondays, 6:00 - 8:00 pm at our San Francisco office. Call us, or visit our Upcoming Events page for information on the next group.
