Government Agencies

Administration on Aging - A U.S. Government office devoted to the needs of seniors.
California Department of Aging - California State government resources for seniors and their families.
Healthfinder- Consumer health information from the U.S. government, including publications, databases, web sites, support and self-help groups, government agencies and not-for-profit organizations.
National Institutes of Health (NIH) Senior Health – Developed by the NIH to help seniors find answers to medical questions in the comfort of their own homes.
Senior Citizens’ Resources – Official information and services from the US government.

San Francisco Network of Care – The Department of Aging and Adult Services’ new information source for seniors and adults with disabilities, as well as their caregivers and service providers.
San Francisco Department of Aging & Adult Services (DAAS) – The DAAS assists older and functionally impaired adults and their families to maximize safety, health and independence.
